IMPORTANT MEETING ON SATURDAY MAY 3rd, 2008

OUR MASS ALIMONY REFORM GROUP MEETING.

PLACE; CORAL SEAFOODS RESTAURANT, 29 SOUTH BOLTON STREET, MARLBOROUGH, MASS. (at the intersection of Rt.20 and Rt. 85). There is a meeting room at the back of the restaurant.

TIME: 10:00 am - 2:00PM
SUBJECT: WHERE DO WE GO FROM HERE.?

We brainstormed and discussed the following topics, and future plans for our efforts.


AGENDA

1. Future media events - how can we get their attention?.
2. Radio Talk Shows - past and future
3. Position of the Mass Bar concerning our Bill - #1567 and the implications their Alimony Reform Taskforc Recommendations.
4. How to move our bill from being "sent for further study" to a positive recommendation from the Judiciary.
5. Other current movements in our state and other states in the US to gain alimony reform similar to ours.
6. Atty Tim Taylor attended and discusseed the Legal ramifications of all of the above.
